Although I am ashamed to admit it, I hated reading for more than half of my life. Then, sometime in high school it just clicked. And partway through college I decided I wanted to be a librarian. Currently I work at a library in Michigan and love everything about it, particularly the books! I don't think there is a day that goes by when I don't see a new book that I add onto my mental list of books to read.
In my spare time, when I'm not reading, I love to cook, bake, play video games, and browse the internet for inspiration. Papier-mâché is a way for me to keep track of all of those inspirations and maybe share some work of my own one day. Whether vintage, modern, machine-made, or hand-stitched, I think there is beauty to be found in even the most straightforward objects that we use everyday.
